Advance Kayaking – 6 hrs – Kitulgala

This advance kayaking excursion lasts upto 6 hours. The upper river, which is with 7 km stretch, could take up to 4 hours. This stretch has a Class IV rapid totaling 6 rapids. And the lower section of the Kelani river offers another 7 km of Class II and Class III rapids and could take up to 2 hours.

And these each rapid requires different technical skills. You must be able to comfortable perform a roll and a wet exit before being taken to upper section. Once all the hard stuff is done there will be time to surf few waves and relax floating down!
